Bath Salt Recipes

Lavender Bath Salt

Layer this mixture and watch your recipients ooooh and awwwww. Not only does this recipe calm the nerves but the healing properties of the various salts will be soothing and relaxing to the muscles.

Ingredients:

  • Epsom Salts

  • Dead Sea Salt or Coarse Sea Salt

  • European Sea Salt (optional)

  • Dried Lavender Buds

  • Mica Powder (optional)

  • Lavender Essential Oil

  • and Powdered Milk

Directions are simply to mix the mica powder with the dead sea salt (to obatin a little color) and then place your essential oil (you can use something different if you choose).  Stir until well mixed. Then add your powdered milk and just layer the salt, lavender buds, salt, tinted salt and repeat until full. Place a ribbon around the neck of your container or a bow!

Easy Bath Salt Recipe
 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Epsom Salts,

  • 1 cup Baking Soda

  • 1 package or 1 cup Powdered Milk

  • Essential Oil of choice - a few drops to 15 drops

  • Mix all ingredients together

  • Put in airtight container

All Over Salt Scrub

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fine sea salt
Essential oils of choice

Mix olive oil and salt in a clean jar then add your choice of essential oils.  Lavender, Rosemary and Sandalwood or Frankincense are always good choices. Add a few drops at a time until it has enough.
